SHT 8824 Active Water Sensor Constant Current Sink

The king of active water sensors. When dry, it draws exactly 4 mA; when water is detected, it immediately rises to 20 mA – precisely according to the industrial standard current loop. This allows it to interface directly with any 2‑wire input: PLC, BMS, SCADA, WAGO, Beckhoff, Siemens, Loxone (with current module), and any modern building or industrial automation system. Best of all, it even detects simple hardware‑store distilled water according to VDE 0510‑5 – where most other sensors fail.

Built with Schabus’ uncompromising quality: two V4A stainless‑steel contacts, fully encapsulated in Wepuran, walk‑on safe, impact‑resistant, aluminum‑reinforced mounting hole, and a 4 m LIYY cable (extendable up to 20 m). Its active electronics make it the most sensitive water sensor in the range – it only fails with absolutely ion‑free ultrapure water.
