Where normal floats won't fit, the folding float switch comes into play. Side-mounted through the wall (PG9 thread), requiring only a few centimeters of installation depth, it reliably monitors from about 4 cm level – whether water, heating oil, diesel, or vegetable oil. Simply rotate 180° to switch from closer to opener. Handcrafted, individually tested, reed contact soldered and Wepuran® encapsulated for eternity.

The classic "Broken-Finger" design: The float arm folds up when rising and switches lightning-fast and precisely. No sticking, no jamming – works for decades even in tight, muddy, or oily containers. 2.5 m cable (extendable to 50 m), directly connectable to SHT 5000, 5001, and 5002.

This little side-entry favorite is loved by all installers retrofitting existing tanks, tight cisterns, or finished pump shafts. Drill a hole, insert sleeve, tighten counter nut – done. No large lid needed, no long fiddling.
