The Tamron OBJVG1040DCIR is a high-quality IR corrected varifocal lens with a focal length of 10 to 40 millimeters. It is specially designed for 1/3 inch image sensors and delivers razor-sharp images with an F1.4 aperture. The special glass materials focus light up to 1000 nanometers exactly at the same point, so that no defocusing occurs under IR illumination. In addition, the lens is coated to allow as much infrared light as possible to pass through.
