The Tamron OBJVM550MM is a high-quality megapixel telephoto lens with a focal length range of 5 to 50 millimeters. It is specifically designed for 1/3 inch image sensors and delivers razor-sharp images with an F1.4 aperture. Tamron uses a hybrid aspherical lens to maintain a consistently high resolution, even when the aperture is wide open. At 5 millimeters, the lens provides an F1.4 aperture, making it the brightest in its class. The focus can be adjusted quickly and easily within a 180-degree adjustment range. A new housing concept allows the locking screws to be tightened without losing focus.
