The Milesight ISIS-MS-N5008-UPC is the powerful 8-channel PoE NVR recorder. It supports cameras with resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD and provides a 4K Ultra HD image output via the HDMI port. The recorder features an integrated PoE switch with eight network ports. This allows you to connect up to eight cameras directly. IP cameras that support PoE are powered by the NVR via the network cable. Including power cable, USB mouse, and 19-inch rack mount ears enables immediate commissioning without additional hardware. Thanks to the H.264 video codec, it reduces network data traffic while significantly increasing recording duration. Modern compression transmits only image changes, increasing recording time by up to 80 percent.

The recorder allows recording with weekly scheduling. You set in a schedule on which days and at what time recording should take place. Whether continuous recording or triggered by an alarm from a camera is flexibly decided by you. Pre-alarm recording starts a few seconds before the event occurs. The software uses a buffer memory in which recording takes place continuously. As soon as the recorder receives the record command from the camera, the recording from the buffer is saved together with the actual recording as one file. Functions of Milesight IP cameras such as motion detection, video analysis, and privacy zones can be centrally configured on the recorder. If the camera detects a motion in the image, for example, or captures a person crossing a virtual line, the camera sends the record command to the recorder. This means the recorder does not need its own motion detection. This spares the CPU and thus increases the recorder's performance.

The recorder supports compatibility with ONVIF and RTSP protocols. This allows you to integrate numerous cameras from different manufacturers into the system. All Milesight IP cameras and the ISIS M series are fully compatible. POS cash register data overlay displays cash register data from a connected register on a camera's live image. This way you see what happens in the image and can directly check using the cash data if erroneous entries were made during checkout. This enables, for example, subsequent verification in case of customer complaints or incorrect billing. Data backup via USB allows easy copying of individual video clips and images for evidence directly from the recorder to a USB stick. Network backup is also possible. User management allows assigning individual rights to multiple persons. This way, you can, for example, allow viewing of recordings only for selected personnel. PTZ button enables effortless control of PTZ cameras.

The recorder works with an integrated PoE switch providing a total power of 120 watts. Bandwidth is 80 Mbps. Synchronous recording achieves 1 x 8 megapixel or 8 x 5 megapixel. Synchronous playback supports various combinations up to 8 x 720P. Hard drive is installed on individual order. Only hard drives designed for 24/7 operation in video surveillance systems are used. Maximum capacity is 10 TB per hard drive with two SATA HDD 3.5 inch. Uninterrupted recording ANR serves for uninterrupted recording when the camera connection is interrupted. If a Milesight IP camera has an integrated memory card, recording takes place on the memory card during a network interruption. Once the connection is restored, the missing recordings are synchronized with the memory card data and transferred to the NVR. The recorder offers live view, recording, remote monitoring via web browser, software, and smartphone app. CMS software enables central management of all cameras and recorders with live images and playback on up to four monitors. Mobile connection via QR code simplifies remote access with the free mobile app for iOS and Android without additional configuration.
