The Milesight ISIS-MS-N7048-PG is a powerful 48 channel NVR recorder. It supports cameras with resolutions up to 12 megapixels and provides 4K Ultra HD output via the HDMI port. The recorder has 24 network ports with PoE, allowing up to 24 PoE-compatible cameras to be powered directly. For the remaining cameras, up to a total of 48, the recorder has an additional Gigabit network port to which a switch can be connected if needed. Including power cable and USB mouse, it enables immediate commissioning without additional hardware.

The recorder works with the H.265 video codec. Compression methods reduce network data traffic while simultaneously increasing the recording time. Modern compression techniques transmit full images only at certain intervals; in between, only image changes are transmitted. This increases the recording duration by up to 90 percent. Recording with weekly management allows you to set a schedule specifying which days and times recording should take place. Whether continuous recording or triggered by a camera alarm, you decide flexibly.

For example, when the camera detects movement in the image or when it detects a person crossing a digital line, the camera sends the record command to the recorder. This means the recorder does not require its own motion detection, saving CPU resources and increasing performance.

The recorder supports compatibility with ONVIF and RTSP protocols, allowing integration of numerous cameras from different manufacturers. All Milesight IP cameras and those from the ISIS M series are fully compatible. The POS overlay displays cash register data from a connected POS system on the live camera image, letting you see what happens and directly verify if any incorrect entries were made during checkout. This enables later verification in case of customer complaints or billing errors. Data backup via USB makes it easy to copy individual video clips or images from the recorder to a USB stick for evidence storage. Backup over the network is also possible.
