The Milesight ISIS-MS-N8064-G is the high‑performance 64 channel NVR recorder. It supports cameras with resolutions up to 12 megapixels and offers image output in 4K Ultra HD via the HDMI output. The recorder has 2 Gigabit network connections with dual operation and 3 network modes. This allows you to integrate the recorder flexibly into your network. Including power cable and USB mouse, it enables immediate commissioning without additional hardware. Dual monitor operation allows the connection of two monitors via two HDMI and two VGA connections each. You thus have live images and playback on two screens simultaneously.

The recorder works with H.265 video codec. Compression methods reduce the data traffic on the network and at the same time increase the recording duration. Modern compression methods transmit complete images only at certain time intervals. In between, only the image changes are transmitted. This increases the recording duration by up to 90 percent. Recording with week management allows you to define in a schedule on which days and at what times recording should take place. Whether continuous recording or in case of an alarm triggered by a camera you decide flexibly.

Pre‑alarm recording starts recording a few seconds before the event occurs. For this purpose, the software uses a buffer in which recording takes place continuously. As soon as the recorder receives the command to record from the camera, the recording from the buffer is saved together with the actual recording as a whole file. Functions of Milesight IP cameras such as motion detection, video analysis and privacy zones can be configured centrally on the recorder. For example, if the camera detects movement in the image or if it captures a person and this person crosses a digital line, the camera gives the recorder the command to record. As a result, the recorder does not need its own motion detection. This conserves the CPU and thus increases the performance of the recorder.

The recorder supports compatibility with the protocols ONVIF and RTSP. This allows you to integrate numerous cameras from various manufacturers into the system. All IP cameras from Milesight and from the ISIS M series are fully compatible. The POS cash data overlay displays cash data from a connected cash register on the live image of a camera. This way you see what is happening in the image and can directly check on the basis of the cash data whether incorrect entries were made when cashing up. This makes, for example, subsequent verification in the event of a customer complaint or in the case of an incorrect settlement possible. Backup allows copying individual video clips and images for evidence preservation easily from the recorder to a USB stick. Backup to a network storage NAS is also possible. You can manually select a period of time or have the last 24 hours backed up automatically.
