The barox VI-UTP-2300A is the IP PoE extender for UTP cables. It transmits 10 / 100 Mbps Ethernet and PoE PoE plus with UTP or Cat cables up to a distance of 500 meters. The pass through technology makes it possible to forward the PoE power supply of a midspan directly via UTP or Cat cables.
The barox VI-UTP-2300A features 1 x 10 / 100 Base T RJ45 copper port and 1 x UTP RJ45 extender port. It does not require its own power supply in PoE mode. For pure data transmission without PoE, a local power supply with 12 VDC is possible. The power consumption is 2 watts.
The barox VI-UTP-2300A operates in an operating temperature range of minus 40 to plus 75 degrees Celsius. The dimensions are 55 by 45 by 27 millimeters. The weight is 0.14 kilograms gross and 0.07 kilograms net. It is ideal for use on the camera side.
