The barox VI-UTP-2301A is the IP PoE extender for UTP cables. It transmits 10 / 100 Mbps Ethernet and PoE PoE plus with UTP or Cat cable up to a distance of 500 meters. The pass through technology makes it possible to forward the PoE power supply of a midspan directly via UTP or Cat cable.

The barox VI-UTP-2301A features 1 x 10 / 100 Base T RJ45 copper port and 1 x UTP RJ45 extender port. It does not require its own power supply in PoE mode. For pure data transmission without PoE, a local power supply with 12 VDC or 24 VAC is possible. The power consumption is 2 watts.

The barox VI-UTP-2301A operates in the temperature range from minus 40 to plus 75 degrees Celsius. The dimensions are 95 by 40 by 30 millimeters. The weight is 0.19 kilograms gross and 0.12 kilograms net. It is ideal for use on the central side.
