The barox VI-UTP-2304AB is the IP PoE extender for UTP cables. It transmits 10 / 100 Mbps Ethernet and PoE PoE plus with UTP or Cat cables up to a distance of 500 meters. The pass-through technology enables the PoE power supply of a midspan to be forwarded directly via UTP or Cat cables.
The barox VI-UTP-2304AB features 4 x 10 / 100 Base T RJ45 copper ports and 4 x UTP RJ45 extender ports. It is a 4-channel module for connecting four separate extender lines. In PoE mode, it does not require its own power supply. The power consumption is 8 watts.
