The barox VI-3005 is the compact PoE switch with 4 ports 10 / 100 BaseT and one uplink port. It can be powered either via PoE from the uplink port or locally with 12 volts DC. The switch supplies connected devices directly with PoE according to IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards. Thanks to its small design and extended temperature range, it is ideal for use at remote locations and in outdoor environments.

The barox VI-3005 supports a Daisy Chain configuration. This allows several locations to be connected with just one cable and to supply one device with PoE each. It is completely plug and play and requires no software configuration. The uplink can be established either via UTP cable or fiber optic cable using the appropriate SFP module.
