The barox RY-GSP17-10 is the 19 inch PoE switch with 8 ports 10 / 100 / 1000TX and PoE plus as well as 2 SFP ports for 100 / 1000 megabits per second. It was specially developed for applications with high data load such as video over IP and video streaming. PoE supplies IP cameras directly via the data cable. Thanks to its reduced range of functions, it is particularly suitable for smaller systems and offers a simple and reliable solution.

The barox RY-GSP17-10 has an extra high backplane performance for smooth video transmission with full port utilization. Jumbo frames up to 9600 bytes are supported even at 100 megabits per second. The MAC address limitation provides additional port security. The switch actively monitors connected cameras and automatically restarts them in the event of failure. In case of malfunctions, it alerts via SNMP.

The barox RY-GSP17-10 offers active monitoring of PoE power supply and alerts via SNMP in case of sudden overload. The PoE ports can be started on a time schedule to prevent overloading the PoE power supply. It is websmart manageable and ring-capable. The fanless operation ensures silent use. Power supply is via 100 to 240 volts AC with a maximum power consumption of 150 watts under full PoE load.
