The barox PC-PIGE502-GBTE is the robust industrial switch for DIN rail mounting. It features 4 ports 10 / 100 / 1000TX with PoE plus and 1 port 10 / 100 / 1000TX without PoE as well as 2 SFP ports for 100 / 1000 Mbit per second. The switch was specially developed for industrial video surveillance networks. Up to four IP high-resolution cameras can be connected directly to the switch and powered via PoE plus. The uplink to the video center can be made either via copper or via two optional SFP ports with fiber optic.

The barox PC-PIGE502-GBTE offers high backplane performance for smooth video transmission at full port occupancy. Jumbo frames up to 9600 bytes are supported even at 100 Mbit per second. The redundant power supply with 12 to 56 volts DC ensures maximum fail-safety. An alarm relay signals the failure of the redundant power supply.

The barox PC-PIGE502-GBTE is designed for use in harsh industrial environments. It operates reliably in the temperature range from minus 40 to plus 75 degrees Celsius. The compact design with dimensions of 142 by 43 by 105 millimeters enables easy mounting on DIN rails or tables. The switch is ideally suited for outdoor use and video surveillance systems.
