The barox RY-LPIGE-804GBTME is a high-quality industrial switch for DIN rail mounting. It features 8 ports 10 / 100 / 1000TX with PoE and PoE plus as well as 4 SFP ports for 100 / 1000 Mbit per second. The switch was specially developed for high-performance 10 100 1000 Mbit per second Ethernet IP networks with high data load. All copper ports support PoE and PoE plus. The switches can be used in redundant ring topologies with a recovery time of less than 50 milliseconds. With extensive management options, even complex network requirements can be met.
The barox RY-LPIGE-804GBTME offers extra high backplane performance for smooth video transmission with full port utilization. Jumbo frames up to 9600 bytes are supported even at 100 Mbit per second. The redundant power supply with 48 to 57 volts DC ensures maximum reliability. The switch is ring-enabled and allows the construction of one or more fault-tolerant fiber rings over two or more connections. PoE and PoE plus allow IP cameras with high power consumption to be powered directly via the data cable. The robust design, wide operating temperature range, and compact form factor make this switch ideal for outdoor use.
The barox RY-LPIGE-804GBTME actively monitors connected cameras and automatically restarts them in the event of a failure. In case of malfunctions, it sends alerts via SNMP. The PoE ports can be started on a time schedule to prevent overloading of the PoE power supply. The switch features an integrated DMS system with a graphical network overview, device search, and graphical data traffic display. The DMS provides the user with a clear overview of the entire network in a simple way. The switch supports PTP according to IEEE 1588 V2 and IEC 61588, a function used in industrial automation, professional audio-video applications for audio-video bridging, and telecommunications.
The barox RY-LPIGE-804GBTME is L2 L3 managed with static routing and ring-enabled. It operates reliably in a temperature range from minus 40 to plus 75 degrees Celsius at a relative humidity of 5 to 95 percent non-condensing.
