The barox RY-LPITE-802GBTME is a robust, high-quality industrial switch for DIN rail mounting. It features 8 ports 10 / 100 / 1000TX with PoE, PoE plus and PoE bt, as well as 2 SFP ports for 100 / 1000 Mbit per second. The switch was specially developed for high-performance 10 100 1000 MBit per second Ethernet ring network structures according to IEEE802.x. All eight copper ports are equipped with Power over Ethernet PoE, PoE plus and PoE bt. These devices are particularly suitable for video networks. The switch enables the creation of one or more fault-tolerant fiber rings via two or more connections. In the event of an interruption, the ring automatically closes in less than 50 milliseconds. This significantly increases system availability.

The barox RY-LPITE-802GBTME offers extra high backplane performance for smooth video transmission at full port utilization. Jumbo frames up to 9600 bytes are supported even at 100 Mbit per second. The redundant 54 Volt DC power supply ensures maximum reliability. The switch is ring-capable and enables redundant fiber rings. With PoE, PoE plus and PoE bt, IP cameras with high power requirements can be supplied directly via the data cable. The robust design, wide operating temperature range and compact size make this switch ideal for outdoor use.

The barox RY-LPITE-802GBTME actively monitors connected cameras and automatically restarts them in case of failure. In the event of a fault, it sends an alarm via SNMP. The PoE ports can be time-controlled to prevent an overload of the PoE power supply. The switch features an integrated DMS system with graphical network overview, device search and graphical data traffic display. The DMS provides the user with a clear overview of the entire network in a simple way. The switch supports PTP according to IEEE 1588 V2 and IEC 61588, a function used in industrial automation, professional audio-video applications for Audio Video Bridging, and telecommunications.

The barox RY-LPITE-802GBTME is L2 L3 managed with static routing and ring-capable. It operates reliably in a temperature range from minus 40 to plus 75 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of 5 to 95 percent non-condensing. Its compact construction with dimensions of 135 by 62 by 130 millimeters and a gross weight of 1.1 kilograms allows easy mounting on DIN rails. The switch is ideally suited for video surveillance networks and demanding industrial applications with high data loads. It features a USB Config Port for firmware update, backup, restore, boot up, and syslog.
