The barox LT-LPIGE-804GBTME is the robust industrial switch for DIN rail mounting. It features 8 ports 10 / 100 / 1000TX with PoE and 4 SFP ports for 100 / 1000 Mbit per second. The switch has been specially developed for high-performance 10 / 100 / 1000 MBit per second Ethernet IP networks with heavy data loads. All copper ports are PoE Plus capable. The switches can be used in redundant ring topologies with a recovery time of less than 50 milliseconds.
The barox LT-LPIGE-804GBTME offers high backplane performance for smooth video transmission with full port utilization. Jumbo frames up to 9600 bytes are supported even at 100 Mbit per second. The redundant power supply with 44 to 56 volts DC ensures maximum reliability. The switch is ring-capable and enables redundant fiber rings with two or four SFP sockets for multimode or singlemode fiber.
The barox LT-LPIGE-804GBTME is L2 L3 managed. It supports static routing and extensive management functions. The switch actively monitors connected cameras and automatically restarts them in case of failure. In case of malfunctions, it sends alerts via SNMP. The PoE ports can be powered on on a time schedule to prevent power supply overload. With the high data rate of the backplane, the switch is particularly well suited for networks with high traffic loads such as video surveillance.
