GX-C3pro CO Alarm: Plug-in Safety with Shutoff and External Sensor – TÜV Certified
A faulty burner, a blocked flue – and CO escapes silently.
The GX-C3pro from Elektrotechnik Schabus GmbH & Co. KG actively prevents this danger: simply plug it into a wall socket, mount the external sensor at breathing height – done. After just 5 minutes of warm-up time, the system is ready for operation.
When CO levels exceed the safe limit (DIN EN 50291), the relay immediately shuts down the connected appliance (boiler, burner, heater) and triggers a loud piezo alarm and flashing red LED. Reset is only possible after ventilating and unplugging the unit – misuse is impossible.
The TÜV-certified electrochemical sensor includes cable break and replug protection, automatic self-test, and a test button. The sensor can be positioned flexibly (even outside the room through a 13 mm wall hole), and it is suitable for damp environments (no condensation). Robust, display-free, and made in Germany – the GX-C3pro is your reliable household lifesaver.
The GX-C3pro’s technology is compliant and uncompromising: external sensor with RJ connection, TÜV tested according to DIN EN 50291, reacts in stages – immediate response to high levels, delayed at low levels – eliminating false alarms. The relay (230 V / 5 A) remains deactivated until manually reset – preventing further CO release.
The cable break safety feature detects line faults, and the self-test routinely checks functionality. Operates from a 230 V socket – no batteries, no replacements. Installation is quick: plug into any outlet, mount the sensor at 1.5–1.8 m height (or near the floor for fireplaces). Can also be used in bathrooms (IP44-equivalent, no splash water). The GX-C3pro is not just a detector, but an active safety management system – simple, reliable, and standard-compliant.
The GX-C3pro is more than a device – it is plug-in security. Whether for a gas boiler in the heating room, a gas stove in the kitchen, an oil furnace in the basement, or a fireplace in the living room – a leak, backflow, or unattended burner, the GX-C3pro responds instantly. Tenants, homeowners, and landlords alike value the effortless installation and automatic shutoff. No drilling on the unit, only sensor mounting is required. The robust design, automatic self-test, and German engineering make the GX-C3pro a long-lasting household protector. It proves that safety can be simple – yet life-saving. With the GX-C3pro, you invest in peace – the peace of knowing technology will act when needed.

Applications: Where the GX-C3pro Provides Effective Protection
The GX-C3pro ensures reliable CO safety in many household environments:
- Boiler rooms: Gas or oil boilers – automatic shutdown on exhaust backflow.
- Kitchens with gas stoves: Detects gas leaks – added safety while cooking.
- Living rooms with fireplaces: Sensor at breathing height – protection from incomplete combustion.
- Bathrooms: Moisture-tolerant – suitable with gas water heaters.
- Basements and garages: For oil heaters or gas cylinders – automatic lockout feature.
- Rental properties: No structural changes – ideal for landlords and tenants.
- Holiday homes: Retrofit protection – works anywhere with a socket.
With the GX-C3pro, carbon monoxide safety starts at the socket – and doesn’t end at the alarm. It’s the simple, active solution for anyone using gas or oil who refuses to compromise. The automatic shutoff, external sensor, and German quality make it an indispensable protection system.
