The sensor is mounted in the risk area (e.g., near the fireplace or in the pellet bunker), while the control unit stays outside – allowing you to see the CO concentration in ppm before entering the area. In case of alarm: loud piezo tone, red LED, and two potential-free changeover relays (5 A). Relay 1 triggers forced ventilation, a solenoid valve, or a shutdown; Relay 2 reports faults (cable break, sensor failure). Both the sensor and the control unit feature acoustic and visual warnings. Cable-break protection included.
