• Before installing or operating the device, read the operating manual carefully.
• Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
• Packaging material is not a toy. Keep it away from children.
• The GAS ALARM GX-C330 may only be installed on a wall in dry indoor areas. The mounting position “at average nose height” should be chosen so that the display is easily readable when standing. This ensures correct operation of the alarm device.
  
• Important! The connecting cables leading to the gas detector must be firmly installed as surface-mounted lines.
  

Intended use

• The GAS ALARM GX-C330 is a fixed-installation carbon monoxide warning device for monitoring indoor areas with open combustion systems.
• It operates with an integrated electrochemical sensor and displays both the operating status and the current CO concentration in ppm on an LCD display.
• In the event of an alarm, both acoustic and visual warnings are activated; in addition, a potential-free relay switches to control, for example, signal horns, flashing lights, or forced ventilation. Another relay reports device malfunctions. Sensor, measuring cell, evaluation, and software have been fully tested and certified by TÜV Süd according to DIN EN 50291.
• The alarm thresholds are programmed so that an alarm is reliably triggered from 30 ppm CO. This makes the device particularly suitable for areas where a CO warning device is required by occupational safety regulations.
• The device is approved exclusively for the described applications and must not be used in potentially explosive areas.
