If you want to directly switch a 230-V relay in the fuse box without extra water detectors in between – here is the solution. Handcrafted flip float ("Broken-Finger"), mounted sideways through the wall (PG9), just rotate 180° and it's normally closed or normally open. 2.5 m genuine LAPP Ölflex® 108 (2 × 0.5 mm²) – oil-, chemical- and flame-resistant – and of course completely encapsulated with Wepuran®. For water, heating oil, diesel and all media from 0.7 g/cm³ density.
Perfect when you want to directly control e.g. a refill pump, solenoid valve or small relay – simple, robust and reliable for decades. Important: Always use only in RCD-protected circuits!
This flip float is the favorite of all electricians who want to quickly and cleanly retrofit level control without additional electronics. Drill one hole, insert grommet, done – and the relay in the control cabinet immediately follows what the level dictates.
