The CO₂ Traffic Light FACTORY from Elektrotechnik Schabus makes stale air instantly visible: yellow LED from 1,400 ppm = “Ventilate now”, red LED from 2,000 ppm = “Ventilate urgently”, flashing red LED + alarm tone from 2,500 ppm = “Take action immediately!”. 

High-precision NDIR infrared sensor, durable white housing, automatic night dimming, and minimal power consumption. Simply mount at a height of 1.8–2 m, plug in the power supply, and it’s ready within 3 minutes. 

Designed specifically for demanding work environments: production halls, workshops, open-plan offices, or staffed warehouses. Keep it powered on continuously for accurate nighttime self-calibration – only disconnect if unused for more than 7 days. 

The technology is practical and reliable: yellow from 1,400 ppm – right at the point where air quality is rated “very poor” according to EU Standard EN 13779 and concentration starts to drop. Red + flashing + tone from 2,500 ppm – still safely below the occupational exposure limit of 5,000 ppm but clearly indicating it’s time to ventilate. 

This ensures ventilation is neither too late nor too long – machines keep running, and heating energy stays inside. Auto-calibration uses the lowest CO₂ level from the past 7 days, and the light sensor dims at night – perfect accuracy with minimal energy use.
