The Milesight VO-UG63 is a modern 8-channel LoRaWAN gateway. It was specifically designed for the wireless transmission of sensor data. Data from up to 2000 end devices and sensors is sent wirelessly to the gateway and then stored in the cloud via the Internet. This makes all information with statistics accessible from anywhere. The Milesight VO-UG63 can be discreetly mounted on a wall or ceiling and blends unobtrusively into any environment.

The Milesight VO-UG63 uses the Listen Before Talk protocol. This allows multiple transmission nodes to share the same channel and bypass the standard duty cycle requirement. With an integrated network server, the gateway supports Semtech packet forwarding and is compatible with various network server platforms such as TTN, ChirpStack, Senet, and Orbiwise. This offers many options for data processing. LoRaWAN is a low-power wireless network protocol with ranges from 2 kilometers in urban areas up to 40 kilometers in rural regions. Its strong building penetration also enables reception in basements.

The Milesight VO-UG63 features 2 internal antennas and operates with a 528 megahertz CPU as well as an ARM Cortex A7 processor. It supports full or half-duplex operation and is powered via PoE. The compact design with dimensions of 115 by 21 millimeters makes it particularly versatile in use. Combined with Milesight Cloud, you can access current data from your LoRaWAN sensors online, activate switches, and view statistics. The connection is possible both from a PC and on the go via an app.
