The Compact 7" Indoor Station for the 2-Wire Network
The Akuvox AV-C313W-2 is a compact indoor station with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen for audio and video communication with door stations in a 2-wire IP network. Despite its slim, space-saving housing, it offers a wide range of functions and is typically used in apartments according to the manufacturer. Based on a Linux operating system, the station communicates with connected door stations via the SIP 2.0 protocol.
Using the existing 2-wire cabling, the AV-C313W-2 can also be retrofitted in older buildings with historical wiring without the need to install new network cables – according to the manufacturer, it is particularly suitable for the renovation of older villas and apartment buildings.

How the AV-C313W-2 Is Built
The indoor station combines a touchscreen, audio unit and all necessary connections in a flat, slim plastic housing.
7" Touchscreen
Capacitive 7-inch touchscreen (projected capacitive) with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, 220 cd/m² brightness and a viewing angle of 50° left, 50° right, 40° up and 50° down. An energy-saving mode reduces power consumption in standby.
Plastic Front Housing
Slim, lightweight plastic housing (dimensions 200.2 × 132.2 × 27.2 mm) for an unobtrusive appearance in living spaces.
Microphone and Speaker
Integrated microphone (-58dB) and speaker (4Ω / 2W) for hands-free voice communication with the door station.
2-Wire Connections
Two 2-wire port pairs for connection to the existing 2-wire IP network, usually via the Akuvox NS-2 network switch. Both communication and – when using the NS-2 – power supply are provided via this line.
Ethernet Port
1× RJ45 port (10/100 Mbps adaptive) for optional direct connection to the local network.
48V DC Connection
Additional power connection for operation with an external 48V DC power source if no NS-2 is used.
RS485, Relay, Bell-in and I/O
RS485 interface for connecting external devices, one relay output, one Bell-in input for a classic doorbell, and a total of 8 I/O connections for further peripherals.
Wi-Fi Module
Integrated Wi-Fi according to IEEE802.11 b/g/n in the 2.4 GHz band for wireless network connection of additional functions.
The AV-C313W-2 is designed for both wall mounting and desktop use and is compatible with US and European electrical flush-mount boxes.

The AV-C313W-2 combines all the essential functions of an indoor station for the 2-wire network in a compact housing.

Supports SIP v1 (RFC2543) and SIP v2 (RFC3261) for communication with door stations.

Long Transmission Distance
