The HW group 1WR-HTemp 3m is a digital sensor for temperature (-30 °C to +80 °C) and relative humidity, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It communicates via an RJ11 interface (1-Wire bus) and is designed for connection to Poseidon, Ares, HWg-STE and Perseus devices.
Designed for rack installation: The 1WR-HTemp 3m is specifically designed for installation in IT cabinets and can be easily fitted in a rack. It is also suitable for monitoring temperature and humidity in industrial environments.
With 3 metres of cable: With its 3-metre cable, the 1WR-HTemp 3m bridges somewhat larger distances between the mounting location and the monitoring device, and can be combined with additional sensors in a daisy-chain configuration via a T-Box unit if required.
Two Measured Values, One Compact Sensor
The 1WR-HTemp 3m delivers two measured values in a single housing and can be easily connected to existing HW group systems.
Temperature Measurement
Measuring range -30 to +80 °C, with graded accuracy from ±0.8 °C (0 to +60 °C) to ±2.0 °C at the edge of the measuring range.
Humidity Measurement
Measuring range 0 to 100 % RH (non-condensing), accuracy 5 % RH at 25 °C, resolution 0.30 % RH.
RJ11 / 1-Wire Connection
Digital connection via an RJ11 jack to the 1-Wire bus of compatible HW group devices.
Galvanic Isolation

How the 1WR-HTemp 3m Is Built
The 1WR-HTemp 3m is designed as a slim rod sensor (Design: Rod) with dimensions of only 78 × 10 × 6 mm and a weight of 25 g.
Rod-Shaped Sensor Head
At the end of the cable sits a compact, rod-shaped sensor head housing the semiconductor sensors for temperature and relative humidity.
3 m Connection Cable
The sensor head is permanently connected to the RJ11 plug via a 3-metre cable, allowing the sensor to be placed some distance from the monitoring device.
RJ11 Plug (1-Wire)
At the end of the cable is an RJ11 plug through which the sensor is connected to the 1-Wire bus of a Poseidon, Ares, HWg-STE or Perseus device. Power supply with 5 V is also provided via the same line.
IP40 Protection Rating
The housing is protected to IP40 and is therefore protected against the ingress of foreign objects, but not against water.
Table or Wall Mounting
The sensor can be placed freestanding on a surface or mounted on a wall or in an IT cabinet.
Single Sensor or Daisy Chain via a T-Box
The 1WR-HTemp 3m can be operated individually or together with other 1-Wire sensors on an HW group device.
