Temperature and humidity with on-site display
The HW group RTU-HTemp Display is a wall-mounted indoor sensor for measuring temperature and relative humidity. It combines a local LCD display with RS-485/Modbus RTU communication, making it suitable for direct integration into building management, HVAC, and monitoring systems. The display shows the current temperature and humidity values directly at the installation site.
Remotely controllable display: The display brightness can be adjusted remotely via a Modbus register, including the option to switch the display off completely.
For use with Perseus: In installations with HWg Perseus devices, the RTU-HTemp Display supports automatic sensor detection and flexible configuration via the UNI3 extension. This reduces installation time on site.

How the RTU-HTemp Display is designed
The device consists of a compact plastic housing with an integrated display and an attached sensor probe.
Plastic housing with LCD display
The housing is made of plastic and features an LCD display on the front that shows temperature and relative humidity simultaneously.
Rotatable display orientation
The plastic housing allows the orientation of the LCD display and sensor probe to be adjusted, enabling the display to adapt to different installation situations.
Integrated sensor probe
A permanently installed probe is attached to the housing, with a cable length of 0 m and semiconductor sensors for temperature and relative humidity.
4-pin terminal block
The 4-pin terminal block is used to connect the A, B, GND, and 12V lines: A and B for RS-485/Modbus RTU, GND as ground, and 12V for power supply, for example from a Perseus device.
Mounting bracket
The scope of delivery includes a bracket for screw mounting on a wall.
IP65 protection rating
The housing is protected according to IP65 and is therefore dustproof and protected against water jets, making it suitable for indoor use.
Single sensor or daisy chain on a Perseus device
The RTU-HTemp Display can be operated individually or as a chain of multiple sensors connected to an HWg Perseus device.
