Perseus Industrial 310

The Scalable DIN-Rail Solution for Monitoring Industrial Environments

The HW group Perseus Industrial 310 is a scalable DIN-rail unit for LAN-based monitoring and control for industrial, infrastructure and environmental applications. It connects external physical sensors, digital inputs and outputs (DI/DO), WLD cables (water leak detection) and third-party meters via LAN or Modbus/RTU.

The Perseus Industrial 310 is offered exclusively as a base unit – there are no variants or starter sets for this model. Thanks to the modular RTU expander architecture, the number of inputs and outputs can be flexibly adapted to the respective application. With extensive alarming options, open APIs (BACnet, Modbus/TCP, MQTT, SNMP, XML) and portal connection (SensDesk Technology), the device is ideal for professional remote monitoring and site automation.

Sensors, Detectors, RTU Expanders and Other LAN Devices in One Unit

The Perseus Industrial 310 starts with 5 digital inputs (with pulse counters) and 2 relay outputs and can be expanded as required via DIN-rail RTU expanders – flexibly powered via 9-30V, -48V or PoE.

Practical Application Examples

  • Technical room and infrastructure monitoring
  • Warehouse, pharmaceutical and storage environmental monitoring
  • Remote monitoring of machines and sites
  • Telco cabinet / BTS monitoring
  • Greenhouse and agricultural monitoring
  • Water leak detection and alarm systems
💡

Practical example: In a control cabinet, the Perseus Industrial 310 monitors the floor for water leaks via the WLD-L zone and, in the event of an alarm, automatically switches a pump or a shut-off valve via one of the two relay outputs. In addition, the device reads a connected energy meter via Modbus/RTU and reports threshold exceedances by e-mail via the SensDesk connection. If more digital inputs are required, an RTU Expander 2004 can be added directly on the DIN rail.
