The COMET C4141 is a high-precision digital thermo-hygro-barometer featuring an external temperature and humidity probe (Ø 18 mm, length 135 mm) and internal sensors for temperature and air pressure – the ideal solution for comprehensive indoor climate monitoring in warehouses, climate chambers, cold rooms, server rooms, museums, archives, greenhouses, pharmaceuticals, or anywhere temperature, humidity, and air pressure need to be measured with flexible external placement. The external combined probe measures temperature from -30 to +105 °C (±0.4 °C) and humidity from 5 to 100 %RH (±2.5 %RH from 5 to 95 % at 23 °C). The dew point is automatically calculated (-50 to +80 °C, ±1.5 °C at T<25 °C and RH>30 %). Internal sensors measure temperature from -10 to +60 °C (±0.4 °C) and air pressure from 800 to 1100 hPa (±2 hPa at 23 °C). The acoustic and visual alarms provide immediate warnings if adjustable limits are exceeded. The Min/Max memory displays the extreme values since the last power-on. The backlit LCD display is easy to read, and both the measuring interval (0.7 to 5 s) and display update rate are adjustable. The robust housing (IP20) and battery power supply (9 V block battery or 12 V adapter with NiMH battery) make the device mobile and mains-independent – battery life approx. 4 months.
