The COMET LD-12 is a reliable water leak and flood detector for early detection of water leakage and flooding – ideal for basements, bathrooms, laundry rooms, server rooms, technical areas, warehouses, or any location where water damage can become costly. As soon as water touches the two contacts on the bottom, the detector activates its binary output (potential-free contact) and triggers an alarm – perfect for connection to alarm systems, building automation, Multiloggers, or other systems with a binary input.

The LD-12 is supplied with a 3-meter cable, allowing flexible placement. It operates on 12 V DC (e.g., using the A1510 power adapter) and is designed for continuous operation.
