The AKCP Internal 4G Modem allows your base unit to connect to the internet via local GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, or 4G services. A special advantage: The internal modem is powered directly by the base unit with DC current, so no external charger or power adapter is required. This feature makes installation especially easy and reduces potential sources of error.

Installation and Important Notes

The AKCP Internal 4G Modem is compatible with all sensorProbe+ units, but cannot be retrofitted – it must be integrated at the time of ordering the base unit. A SIM card is not included in the delivery and must be obtained separately from your preferred cellular provider.

Important to note: The internal modem is not available for the AKCP Door Control Unit.
