The COMET P0122 is a robust 4-20mA temperature transmitter with an integrated 120 mm duct rod probe – the classic solution for precise temperature measurement directly in the airflow of ventilation and air-conditioning systems (HVAC), air ducts, supply or exhaust systems, climate chambers, or process air. With a galvanically isolated current output (4-20 mA) and high long-term stability, it is ideal for connection to PLCs, building control systems, controllers, data loggers, or remote monitoring systems – even over long distances without signal loss.
The internal temperature sensor measures from –30 to +80 °C with an accuracy of ±0.4 °C and high resolution (0.1 °C). The 120 mm rod probe extends deep into the duct and provides representative readings even at high airflow velocities. The output is freely scalable – you can define the measuring range and output value via PC (e.g. 4 mA = –30 °C, 20 mA = +80 °C).
