The COMET 2061-250/0 (S 2061/250 Pt1000/3850) is a robust and precise insertion temperature probe designed for applications where the temperature must be measured directly inside soft, pasty, or bulk materials. With its sharp 250 mm stainless steel tip and a measuring range of –30 to +250 °C, it is perfectly suited for food production, agriculture, storage monitoring, and industrial processes.

Whether used in grain or flour silos, potato or fruit storage, meat and sausage production, dough processing, compost piles, soil, sand, or chemical bulk materials – the 2061-250 penetrates the product effortlessly and delivers fast and accurate core temperature readings. The high-quality Class A Pt1000 element ensures maximum accuracy and long-term stability.

The flexible, high-temperature-resistant silicone cable (standard length 1 meter, longer on request) is shielded and compatible with all COMET transmitters equipped with a Pt1000 input (e.g. T4411, P8510, H3531, etc.), data loggers, or directly with PLC systems. The probe is supplied without a connector, allowing users to freely configure or wire the cable as needed.

The stainless steel probe is food-grade, easy to clean, and extremely durable – ideal for daily industrial use in production and quality assurance.

Installation & handling:

Simply insert the probe into the material to be measured – that’s it. For continuous monitoring, the probe can be fixed with a mount. The silicone cable withstands high temperatures permanently and is resistant to many chemicals.
