The COMET SN164 (Pt1000TG7/0) is a professional surface temperature sensor designed for direct, high‑precision measurement on pipes, tanks, heating plates, motors, housings, machinery, and all other solid surfaces. Its solid brass head with a diameter of 19.5 mm ensures excellent thermal contact and a fast response time – ideal wherever precise and continuous surface temperature monitoring is required.

The probe is easily mounted to the surface to be measured using one or two M4 screws (optionally with thermal paste for even faster response). The high‑temperature‑resistant, shielded silicone cable (standard length 1 meter) remains fully operational at continuous temperatures up to +200 °C and provides interference‑free measurement signals.

Thanks to the Pt1000 sensing element of Class A accuracy (3850 ppm/°C) and IP65 protection, the SN164 is perfectly suited for tough industrial environments, including heating and air‑conditioning systems, mechanical engineering, food production, as well as energy and building technology.

The probe is supplied without a connector, allowing flexible wiring or direct connection to COMET transmitters (e.g. T4411, P8510), data loggers, or PLC systems.
