The COMET SN185 (Pt1000TGL40/0) is an affordable yet fully professional and completely waterproof IP67 immersion probe for universal use in liquids, air, and non-aggressive gases within the temperature range of –30 to +80 °C.

With its slim stainless steel housing made of DIN 1.4571 (40 mm × Ø5.7 mm) and shielded PVC cable (1 meter), it is ideal for heating, ventilation and air conditioning, hot water systems, aquariums, greenhouses, storage monitoring, food production, and anywhere a robust, cost-effective, long-term sealed temperature probe is required.

The probe responds very quickly: t0.5 < 7 s in flowing water and, thanks to its Pt1000 Class A sensor element (±0.15 + 0.002 × |t|) °C, delivers highly precise and repeatable measurements.
