The COMET DSTGL40/C is a compact digital temperature probe with a CINCH connector, specially developed for the P-Line WebSensor series (P8511, P8541, P8641, P8552, P8652). It precisely measures air or process temperature within the range of –30 to +80 °C (±0.5 °C) and is designed for non-condensing environments with 0–100% relative humidity. The short and slim measuring rod (length 40 mm, Ø 5.7 mm) is ideally suited for direct insertion measurements in airflows, pipes, small containers, or tight installation spaces.

The probe is fully digital and can be replaced without recalibration – simply plug it in, and the WebSensor automatically detects it. All P8xx1 devices are supported from firmware version 4-5-5.0 onwards. This makes it the perfect extension for Ethernet-based temperature monitoring with web interface, COMET Cloud, Modbus TCP, and remote alarm.

Optionally available with various cable lengths (1 m standard, up to 10 m) – flexible for any installation situation. The probe is IP20-protected and designed for dry to slightly humid indoor environments. It operates reliably across the full operating temperature range of the sensor – ideal for building automation, storage, production, or climate control.

Installation – simple as can be
