The COMET 2091-250/0 (S 2091/250 Pt1000/3850) is a high-temperature insertion probe with 250 mm length, designed for professional use in soft and free-flowing materials up to +250 °C. The long, pointed stainless steel lance penetrates easily into grain and flour silos, large meat pieces, dough masses, compost piles, drying materials, soil, or granulates, and accurately measures the core temperature – from –50 °C in deep-freeze applications up to +250 °C in baking or drying processes.

Thanks to the high-quality Pt1000 Class A sensor element and the heat-resistant, shielded Teflon cable, the probe provides long-term stable and interference-free readings even under extreme conditions. It is supplied without a connector and can be connected directly to any COMET transmitter with a Pt1000 input (e.g., T4411, H3531, P8510), data logger, or PLC.

The food-safe stainless steel probe is easy to clean, extremely durable, and ideal for continuous daily use in bakeries, butcheries, silo facilities, drying plants, and industrial environments.

Installation & handling:

Simply insert the probe into the material. For continuous measurement, the sensor can be fixed with a bracket or flange. The Teflon cable remains fully functional even during continuous operation at +250 °C.
