The COMET SN263M is an explosion-proof Pt1000 temperature probe with a MiniDin connector – specially certified for safe use in ATEX Zone 2 (gas) and Zone 22 (dust). With the marking II3G Ex ec IIC T3 Gc and II3D Ex tc IIIC T60 °C...230 °C Dc, it is ideal for potentially explosive atmospheres in chemical plants, tank farms, paint booths, mills, conveyor systems, gas and dust environments, or anywhere maximum safety in temperature measurement is required. The Pt1000 sensing element (3850 ppm/°C, Class A) provides highest accuracy: ±(0.15 + 0.002 × t) °C across the full range from –30 to +180 °C. Installation and use – safe and simple

Install the probe via threaded hole or measuring sleeve, plug the MiniDin connector into an Ex‑approved measuring device – done. The silicone cable and stainless‑steel housing are immediately ready for use in Ex areas. Before commissioning, check ATEX marking and maximum temperature.
