The COMET SN263 (Pt1000TG8Ex/0) is a professional, ATEX‑certified temperature probe designed for safe operation in explosive atmospheres, Zone 2 (gas) and Zone 22 (dust). Certified as II 3G Ex ec IIC T3 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIC T60 °C…230 °C Dc, it can be used directly in areas with flammable gases, vapors, or dusts – without an additional safety barrier.

The probe, made of stainless steel DIN 1.4571 (60 mm × Ø 5.7 mm), is fully sealed to IP67 and permanently submersible in liquids. The high‑temperature resistant shielded silicone cable withstands up to +180 °C. It is ideal for chemical, pharmaceutical, paint, solvent, grain, wood, and plastic processing plants, or in any area where potentially explosive atmospheres may occur.

The Pt1000 Class A sensing element ensures highest accuracy and long‑term stability. The sensor is supplied without a connector and can be connected directly to COMET Ex transmitters (e.g., T4411 Ex, Hx531 Ex) or any ATEX‑approved evaluation system with a Pt1000 input.
