The COMET SN270C (Pt1000TR050M/C) is a specialized Pt1000 flue gas and high-temperature probe with a CINCH connector, designed for demanding use in chimneys, furnaces, wood gasifiers, pellet boilers, heating boilers, and exhaust systems. With a wide measuring range of –50 to +400 °C (short-term up to +450 °C at the measuring tip) and a Teflon-insulated cable (max. +260 °C at the cable), it is perfectly suited for precise monitoring of flue gas, exhaust, and process temperatures.

The Pt1000 sensor, Class A (±0.15 + 0.002 × |t| °C up to +250 °C), ensures maximum accuracy and long-term stability. The long stainless-steel measuring stem (90/130 mm × Ø 6 mm, DIN 1.4301) with an 8 mm spacer ring is corrosion-resistant and penetrates deeply into the gas flow. The shielded Teflon cable (1 meter standard) remains heat-resistant and flexible. The CINCH connector allows quick and reliable connection to COMET transmitters, data loggers, or any Pt1000-compatible input unit.

The probe is fully IP64 rated – perfect protection against soot, condensate, and splash water. The extremely fast response time (t0.5 < 5 s in flowing water) ensures accurate control and rapid reaction to temperature changes. Ideal for fireplaces, solid-fuel boilers, pellet systems, biomass plants, heating optimization, or emission measurement.

Installation – simple & secure

Insert the probe into the exhaust pipe or chimney, position with the spacer ring, and secure with a clamp. The Teflon cable withstands up to +260 °C and remains flexible – ideal for tight installations. For best results, position the probe fully within the gas flow.
