Central data acquisition and visualization
The system collects sensor data from up to 30 wireless devices and presents it via an intuitive local web user interface. The collected measurements are not only displayed but can also be visualized as detailed diagrams, enabling precise analysis of trends and developments. This graphical representation is particularly valuable for long-term monitoring of environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and other critical measurements.
Intelligent alarm functions
The SP-WTS offers a robust notification system with various alarm options. Email notifications are automatically sent when predefined thresholds are exceeded. In addition, the system supports SNMP traps for integration into existing network management systems. This functionality ensures that critical events are immediately detected and appropriate actions can be initiated.
Optional 4G mobile connectivity for extended functionality
A special feature of the SP-WTS is its optional 4G mobile data modem. This extension enables remote access to the system even at sites without a fixed internet connection. Furthermore, SMS notifications can be sent, providing an additional communication channel for critical alarms. The 4G functionality can optionally be combined with GPS support to enable precise location determination.
Private and secure LoRa network
The system is based on proven LoRa wireless technology and creates a private, secure wireless network without dependence on cloud services or third-party software. This autonomy ensures maximum data security and control over the entire monitoring infrastructure. The LoRa technology supports various regional frequency plans, including EU868, US915, AS923, KR920, and IL917, ensuring worldwide deployability.
Comprehensive connectivity options
The SP-WTS features a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port for network integration as well as three intelligent sensor ports for connecting wired AKCP sensors. Optionally, the system can be equipped with a Modbus RS485 port, enabling integration into industrial automation systems. This versatility makes the SP-WTS an ideal solution for a wide range of application scenarios.
Central monitoring of multiple locations
For companies with multiple SP-WTS systems, AKCP offers various integration options. MQTT/S support enables seamless integration into existing IoT infrastructures, while SNMP integration allows connection to most Building Management Systems (BMS) and Network Management Software packages. As the capstone, the AKCPro Server software is available – a proprietary DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) solution for the centralized monitoring of all connected systems from a single user interface.
Robust hardware specifications
The system is designed for continuous operation in demanding environments. With an MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) of an impressive 1,400,000 hours based on field experience, the SP-WTS offers exceptional reliability. The operating temperature range is between -15°C and +50°C at a relative humidity of 20% to 80% (non-condensing).
Flexible mounting options
The SP-WTS is supplied with various mounting accessories that enable flexible installation. Options include DIN rail mounting, wall mounting, magnetic mounting, and freestanding feet. This versatility allows for optimal integration into various installation environments, from server cabinets to industrial plants.
Energy-efficient technology
Power is supplied via an external USB adapter with 5.5V and 3A. Optionally, Power over Ethernet (PoE) is also available, further simplifying installation in network environments. The compact dimensions of 111 x 62 x 87 mm make the device ideal for use in space-constrained areas.
Advanced software functions
The integrated software supports up to 30 wireless devices with the ability to graphically display up to 32 wireless sensors. In total, up to 400 sensors can be managed online (wireless and virtual sensors combined). A USB port enables easy integration of LoRa devices and software updates.
