The COMET SP042 is the high-performance LoRaWAN® Gateway SenseCAP M2 – the central access point for your wireless COMET Wx9xx sensor system. It securely and reliably connects up to hundreds of battery-powered COMET LoRaWAN sensors (temperature, humidity, CO₂, binary, Pt1000, etc.) to the COMET Cloud – without any cabling of sensors and with an impressive range. Ideal for warehouses, production halls, cold chain monitoring, greenhouses, technical rooms, offices, or distributed installations where traditional Ethernet or Wi-Fi solutions are too expensive or impractical.

After simple installation (PoE or 9–28 V DC), the gateway immediately receives data from all COMET Wx9xx sensors within range and forwards it via Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) to the COMET Cloud. The external magnetic-base antenna ensures optimal radio coverage – up to 15 km in open fields and 2 km in urban buildings. The gateway operates in the EU863-870 MHz band and is fully compatible with the COMET LoRaWAN ecosystem.

With PoE support (IEEE 802.3af) or a standard DC input, the power supply is flexible and reliable. The compact housing (144 × 135 × 34 mm) and IP20 protection make it perfect for indoor installations. No complicated configuration required – once connected and registered in the Cloud, everything runs automatically.
