The COMET SP043 is the high-performance, outdoor-ready LoRaWAN® Gateway Milesight UG65 – the ideal central access point for your wireless COMET Wx9xx sensor system. It securely, reliably, and over long distances connects hundreds of battery-powered COMET LoRaWAN sensors (temperature, humidity, CO₂, Pt1000, binary, etc.) to the COMET Cloud – perfect for warehouses, production halls, cold chain systems, greenhouses, outdoor areas, technical rooms, or distributed installations where conventional networks fail.

After quick installation (PoE or 9–24 V DC), the gateway immediately receives data from all COMET Wx9xx sensors within range and forwards it to the COMET Cloud via Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps) or optional LTE backup (miniSIM). The external LoRa antenna (mounted directly on the device) ensures maximum radio coverage – up to 15 km in open field, 2–5 km in urban or industrial buildings. The robust IP65 housing makes it weatherproof and vibration-resistant – suitable for indoor and outdoor use from –40 to +70 °C.

With PoE support (IEEE 802.3af) or standard DC input, the power supply is flexible and reliable. Low power consumption (max. 4.2 W) and LTE fallback ensure high availability – even during Ethernet outages. No complicated configuration required – once connected and registered in the Cloud, everything runs automatically. The COMET Cloud provides charts, exports, alarms, and remote access via app or browser.
