The COMET T3419 is a professional temperature and humidity transmitter with a remote combined probe on a cable, perfectly suited for installations where the transmitter housing cannot or should not be mounted directly in the measurement area. The high-quality probe with stainless-steel mesh filter can be placed exactly where the measurement is required (e.g. in air ducts, pipelines, climatic chambers, production halls, or outdoor environments), while the electronics remain protected.

Thanks to the galvanically isolated RS485 interface and Modbus RTU protocol (factory default), the T3419 easily integrates into any building automation, SCADA system, or PLC. Up to 256 devices can operate on one bus, making it ideal for large monitoring networks. Alternatively, the Advantech-ADAM and ARION protocols are available. Data transmission remains completely interference-free even over long distances up to 1200 m.

The T3419 automatically calculates all important derived humidity parameters such as dew point, absolute humidity, specific humidity, mixing ratio, and specific enthalpy, and makes them directly available via the bus. The large dual-line LCD displays temperature, relative humidity, or dew point as desired, and can be switched off during continuous operation to save energy.

With its robust IP65 housing, durable polymer humidity sensor with stainless-steel filter, operating range of –30 to +80 °C (display) and –30 to +105 °C at the probe, the T3419 is built for continuous industrial use, providing years of precise measurements with minimal maintenance.

Installation – quick and flexible

The housing is mounted to the wall using two screws, and the probe can be positioned exactly where the measurement is required – for example, directly in the air stream or inside a duct. The self-clamping terminals and clear wiring layout make commissioning possible within minutes.
