The COMET T3419P is a specialist in the reliable and highly precise measurement of temperature and relative humidity directly in compressed air and gas systems up to 25 bar. This professional measuring device was specifically designed for tough industrial use in compressed air treatment, drying systems, pneumatic systems, and everywhere accurate humidity values in compressed air are crucial for process security and energy efficiency. The remote sensor head is firmly connected to the device, ensuring long-term stable measurements even under high pressure and flow speeds.
Thanks to the galvanically isolated RS485 interface, the T3419P can be easily integrated into existing automation systems, SCADA systems, or building management systems. The proven Modbus RTU protocol is preset at the factory, with alternative options including Advantech-ADAM, ARION, and HWg-Poseidon protocols. Up to 256 devices can operate on a single bus, ideal for large compressed air networks with many measurement points.
The large, clear dual-line LCD optionally displays temperature, relative humidity, or the directly calculated dew point, and can be completely switched off for continuous operation to save power. The entire configuration, including calibration, is easily done via the free COMET TSensor software. For traditionalists, many basic settings can also be made directly via Hyperterminal.

Installation – easy and safe
The T3419P is mounted on the wall with two screws, the compressed air sensor head screwed directly into the air line (G 1/2"). Always release pressure and equalize ambient pressure before removing the sensor head! Wiring is done via spring-loaded terminal blocks – no soldering, no hassle. Thanks to galvanic isolation and high interference immunity of the RS485 line, the device operates perfectly even in electrically noisy industrial environments.
