The COMET T8448 is a smart and elegant CO₂ and temperature transmitter designed for modern building automation and demand-controlled ventilation. Equipped with a high-quality NDIR CO₂ sensor, it measures carbon dioxide concentration with exceptional reliability from 0 to 5000 ppm and displays indoor air quality instantly via a large 3-color LED indicator: Green = good (up to 1000 ppm), Yellow = moderate (1001–1200 ppm), Red = poor (above 1201 ppm). You can see immediately when ventilation is required.

In addition to CO₂, the T8448 also measures room temperature from –10 to +50 °C – ideal for complete indoor climate monitoring. The large dual-line LCD provides a clear display of both values and can be completely switched off to save power or maintain a discreet appearance. Installation takes only minutes: the unit fits directly onto a standard KU68 flush-mount junction box, just like a light switch.
