The Comet TA5640 is the compact Ethernet sensor for measuring CO₂ concentration and barometric pressure. Compared to older models, it features a new NDIR CO₂ module with high accuracy in the range up to 5000 ppm. Thanks to the LCD display, LED signaling, and acoustic alarms, the device is ideal for instant local indication of air quality.

The Comet TA5640 is the ideal solution for offices, schools, and public spaces where temperature and humidity are controlled by another system, but air quality and ventilation need to be monitored based on CO₂ concentration. The NDIR sensor used ensures high accuracy and long-term stability without frequent calibration. The device serves for ventilation monitoring and indirect occupancy detection.

The Comet TA5640 offers a backlit LCD display, acoustic and LED alarm signaling, and power supply via 5 to 24 volts or PoE. It features an integrated backup memory and a modern web interface with IPv4 and IPv6 support, Modbus TCP, COMET Cloud, as well as fully encrypted communication over HTTPS, SNMPv3, and TLS. An integrated removable holder facilitates installation.
