Modbus support of sensorProbe2+ and sensorProbeX+ devices

AKCess Pro, manufacturer of SNMP-enabled AKCP sensorProbe and securityProbe remote monitoring devices, just announced Modbus support for the lastest generation of sensorProbe units.

The sensorProbe2+ (SP2+) and sensorProbeX+ remote monitoring systems offer now an integrated Modbus RTU to TCP as well as Modbus to SNMP gateway. The new sensorProbe generation can function Modbus TCP/IP as standard (client or server).​

All sensors monitored by new sensorProbe generations have a Modbus register automatically assigned, and the user can edit the Modbus register assigned to the sensors.The Modbus register is offered in easy to use webGUI of new AKCP sensorProbe+ devices.

An integration of new sensorProbe generation with attached Modbus devices in SNMP compatible (network-) management systems such as Nagios or OpenNMS is also supported. MIB files and SNMP utilities are included with sensorProbe2+ and sensorProbeX+ remote monitoring devices.
