Didactum`s innvoative 100 III remote monitoring device offers the user a continuous recording of the important environmental factor temperature. This device for temperature monitoring works stand alone. An installation of software or agents is not mandatory. By supporting the SNMP protocol, an important component of the TCP / IP network protocol, the temperature data can be transmitted to measurement data software and automation solutions.

A precise temperature sensor is an integral part of the delivery of the 100 III monitoring unit. This temp sensor covers a measuring range from minus 40 degrees to plus 100 degrees Celsius.  The resolution is 0.1 ° C and the measuring accuracy is +/- 0.4 degrees Celsius. If desired, you can also recalibrate this ensor with the support of the offset function.

This IP-based temperature monitoring solution can be used across all industries and can be extended flexibly. By connecting optional sensor boxes, up to 36 temperature sensors can be measured and monitored in real time. The manufacturer Didactum also offer suitable temperature sensors for precise temperature recording in refrigeration and deep-freeze storage. A chlorine-resistant temperature sensor will soon be available. This sensor has been specially developed for temperature recording in production environments of the food, beverage and meat industry.

Integrated data logger including temperature visualization

The temperature values ​​recorded in real-time are stored in the built-in data memory of the monitoring unit. The capacity of data logger can be expanded with an optional USB memory stick. The collected temperature data can be easily exported and processed with Microsoft Excel. Create reports, proofs and checklists regarding temperature monitoring. A graphical representation of the temperature profile - directly in the multi language web interface - is supported by Didactum`s IP-thermometer.

Access your remote temperature monitoring solution via smartphone, tablet, PC or notebook. Check measured temperature values ​​of the last minutes, hours, weeks or months. Verify if your sensitive infrastructure has been exposed to a critical temperature.

Temperature monitoring with SMS notification

If the temperature changes in production, in warehouse or logistics infrastructure or in the server room, you and your colleagues will be informed of Didactum`s remote temperature warning device at an early stage. For this purpose, you can define individual temperature limits in the multilingual web interface. Set individual alerts in case of too low, too high, or critical temperature. In addition to e-mail notification (to up to 8 different receivers), full SNMP support and relay switching, this remote temperature monitoring device can also be equipped with an optional GSM modem.

Wherever a GSM network is available, an automatic alert at critical temperature can be sent directly to your mobile phone or smartphone via SMS.
The SMS temperature alarm via GSM network can be sent to up to 8 different mobile phone numbers. Built-in macro functions support an individual SMS temperature alert. On request, you can also send important status messages regarding temperature monitoring via SMS. At any time of day or night, you can get information about the current temperature in your sensible infrastructure by SMS.
