The COMET P4171 is a robust Pt1000 temperature transmitter with 4–20 mA output – the ideal solution for precise high‑temperature measurement using external Pt1000 probes in the range of 0 to +400 °C. As a proven industrial transmitter with galvanically isolated current output, it is perfectly suited for demanding applications such as furnaces, dryers, heat exchangers, exhaust systems, boilers, industrial ovens, baking ovens, sterilizers, machinery, chemical and food processes – anywhere Pt1000 sensors are used for high‑temperature monitoring and a reliable 4–20 mA signal is required.

The transmitter linearly converts the Pt1000 signal into a 4–20 mA output for the measurement range 0 to +400 °C with an accuracy of ±0.7 °C. The resolution is 0.1 °C. The output is freely scalable – you can define the desired measuring range and output value via PC (e.g. 4 mA = 0 °C, 20 mA = +400 °C). The weatherproof IP65 enclosure protects against dust and water jets – ideal for industrial environments (ambient temperature −30 to +80 °C). No external probe included – the P4171 connects directly to your Pt1000 probe (2‑, 3‑ or 4‑wire connection).
