The COMET P6181 is the reliable Pt100 temperature transmitter with 4-20mA output – the classic solution for precise temperature measurement with external Pt100 probes in industry, warehouses, cold rooms, process plants, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, or wherever Pt100 sensors are already available or should be used. With galvanically isolated current output (4-20 mA) and high long-term stability, it is perfect for connection to PLCs, BMS systems, controllers, recorders, or remote monitoring systems – even over long distances without signal loss.

The transmitter converts the Pt100 signal linearly to 4-20 mA for the measurement range –100 to +200 °C with an accuracy of ±0.3 °C up to +100 °C and ±0.4 °C above that. The resolution is 0.1 °C. The output is freely scalable – you define via PC the desired measuring range and output value (e.g. 4 mA = –100 °C, 20 mA = +200 °C). The weatherproof IP65 housing protects against dust and water jets – ideal for outdoor or humid indoor environments (–30 to +80 °C ambient temperature). No external probe included – the P6181 connects directly to your Pt100 probe (2-, 3-, or 4-wire). Compact design (88.5 × 117 × 39.5 mm) and low weight (approx. 125 g) allow easy installation.

Galvanic isolation protects against ground loops and interference.
