The COMET P8611 is the compact PoE WebSensor (P-Line) with one channel for external temperature and humidity probes – the ideal solution for precise, network-based climate measurement in server rooms, technical rooms, warehouses, cleanrooms, greenhouses, or production facilities. Thanks to Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af), it requires only a single network cable for data and power – installation becomes simpler, cleaner, and more cost-effective, without a separate power supply.

The external probe (DSxx series, sold separately) measures temperature up to +105 °C and humidity 0–100 %RH with high accuracy. In addition to the primary values, the P8611 automatically calculates all important humidity parameters: dew point, absolute humidity, specific humidity, mixing ratio, and specific enthalpy – all directly available via the integrated web interface or via Modbus TCP.

Via Ethernet (RJ45) with PoE, the sensor integrates seamlessly into networks. Direct connection to the COMET Cloud (3 months free, then 1 credit/year) provides charts, exports, alarms, and remote access via app or browser. Alternatively, Modbus TCP, SNMP, JSON, or XML for your own SCADA/BMS/IoT solution.
